Diaz Aliaga is a bold knitwear brand designed by Grecia Sofía Díaz Aliaga.

Our mission is to have a positive impact on the world and show the potential of our peruvian hands.
Using the best natural fibers and materials that Peru has to offer, such as Alpaca, Pima and Wool.

When merging these fabrics and textures, we create comfortable and unique designs.

The internship program at Díaz Aliaga is designed to engage young talented students, like yourself, and evolve the future leaders of fashion.

It is our goal that your internship experience is a fun educational experience. The cross-departmental approach at such a small company enhances your skill set beyond any learning of the class room setting. You will have the opportunity to work with almost every department. This working environment at Díaz Aliaga provides the greatest opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in the business world.

What you´ll get to do

• Prepare knitwear fabric cards once swatches are approved.
• Make designs using Photoshop and illustrator, and/or ProCreate.
• Assist with creating of artwork layouts (macrame, intarsia, crochet, hand embroidery).
• Assist the design department and product development team with collection development.
• Participate in the design Department specifically focusing on creating techpacks.
• Participate in Design and Concept Developments.
• Participate in the creation and approval of Color Palettes and Inspiration Boards.
• Participate in design fittings & take notes during knitwear fittings.
• Participate in pre-show styling/fittings.
• Participate in the backstage runway show, if possible.

We´d love to meet you if you

• Are a current college and/or university student or recent graduate (2023)
• Have knowledge of knitwear, garment construction, a sense of color, and presentation skills.
• Have AI Photoshop / illustrator / Procreate basic skills.
• You speak and write English at an intermediate level.
